ServicesAcknowledgments: Verifying the identity of a signer who acknowledges they willingly signed a document (e.g., deeds, trusts, business agreements). Oaths and Affirmations: Administering a formal pledge to a client compelling them to truthfulness under penalty of perjury, often required for affidavits or depositions. Verifications on Oath or Affirmation (Jurats): Certifying that a signer physically appeared, was identified, took an oath or affirmation, and signed the document in your presence. Signature Witnessing: Physically or digitally observing a client sign a document and verifying their identity. Copy Certifications: Certifying that a reproduced document is a full, true, and accurate copy of an original. (Note: Colorado law strictly prohibits notaries from certifying copies of vital records, such as birth, death, or marriage certificates, or publicly recorded documents).
